Pretty Pinwheels

pinwheel diy

Out of all the April Fools Jokes this week my favorite was waking up to snow on the ground and snowflakes dancing from the sky. Each one laughing in my face… You actually thought it was spring!  You win mother nature. I would’ve rather seen another millionth “I’m pregnant” joke.
Love these pinwheels the darling Amanda Rydell made using Dear Lizzy papers and the flower epoxy center for the right pinwheel. For the containers she painted egg cartons a cheerful coral and gold. Who would have thought of that. So clever!
(The right color is Valspar Coral Reef & left is gold spray paint.)

These are such a cute gift idea to a crafty friend because inside the egg cartons are plastic eggs full of darling supplies: gold glitter clothes pins, mini rolls of washi tape, lace and stickers. Now that’s an easter egg hunt I can get excited about!

Adore these painted and embellished eggs. Spray paint plastic eggs and decorate with paper and add a flag with a stamped sentiment.

What an adorable idea! This would be such a fun treat for a crafter and that coral color is amazing. I am going to make one for my mom and sister right away.

I love the idea of spraying cardboard egg cartons. Could you please let me know what the spray gold paint brand you use. Was it Valspar? What type?

    Thank you.
