This past weekend you would’ve found me sitting on the floor surrounded by piles of scrapbook pages I’d been collecting in my closet the past years. It definitely was awesome getting them into albums yet I was sad to see how much less Lola had than the older two. It seems that designing Dear Lizzy product took over some of my time for designing pages. (Have you noticed that with those of you who have more than one child… or pet even? ; ) …That the older kids have more pages.)
Seeing that a lot of Avery’s pages were in Creating Keepsakes that I spent hours and hours on each one, I’m sure Lola won’t mind if I make some quick pages for her. Even scraplift some pages I did for other girls and start filling more in her album. Or better yet, Project Life baby!
But I am not going to let the guilt eat at me too much because I did make a video of her already, that I haven’t made one for the other girls yet. (BTW… thanks so much for your comments about the A Little Girl & Her Bear Video! It made me smile to read how you enjoyed watching it because it was quite fun putting it together!!)
And I also started this mini book with her as the star… made with my new Dear Lizzy album with the Polka Dot Party collection. This book is one of my favorite new products. It has 3 transparencies, 2 canvas pages, chipboard pages and some pocket page protectors. You can get artsy on the canvas pages then move quick through filling the pocket pages. The best of both worlds!!
You can see a video tutorial I made for Two Peas on how to paint the pages. I also walk you through the different types of pages and layering.
I do have to add… the phrase on the front page/transparency is such a great start to telling your story, “I would live it all over again.”
