My little Lola bear. Still at that sweet age where she loves on you all day. Although she has crossed over to the dark side with her sisters and is officially a daddy’s girl. I held onto her as long as I could. Don’t get me wrong, she obviously loves her momma but she has that extra twinkle in her eye for daddy… just look at these pictures as evidence. This is why I won’t stop until I have a boy. Actually I take that back… one more try for a boy… or two… no one. Crap.
I do love how she’ll take a minute from taking everything out of the tupperware drawer to sit by me and share a string cheese and talk about really important matters like if her teefies hurt, where’s her button (there it is!) and the presidential election. She’s got some tough points on that one. PopPop took us out to dinner last night at Malawis and we snapped a couple pictures before. It’s always worth it to lug around your slr.

We stopped by a fountain to trade a few pennies for wishes. Avery’s first wish was that tomorrow would be Easter… which is really random for her so after some coaxing I got her to wish for what we both really want… a trip to Disneyland.
I knew while stepping into these leopard printed pants that I was really putting myself out there for an endless supply of jokes from Mr Kartchner. He was running low on material anyway so I was more wearing them for a favor. heehee But honestly I couldn’t pass them up at Target.
Besides, if I’m going to go out of my way to change out of my sweats, might as well change into something with animal print. (You can quote me on that.;)

Seriously I don’t how how many people would be able to pull it off like you do !! I use leopard scarf once and yes it was a favor for my hubby so he can make fun of me lol
Oh! Super cute! Only you could do this and look hot!
How cute is Lola?!!!
Love the leopard. I saw those at Target and wish I would have bought a pair now!
Love the leopard. Target ones did not work for me, but I’m on the hunt for another pair.
Darling photos! So nice to have a daddy to take pics often of you and the girls. And your wish for a boy is a good one, they are scrumptious! I am blessed with a 12 yr old boy with the tenderest heart you’ve ever known, a sass 10 yr old girl and my 5 yr old boy is so darn scrumptious and funny. The boys have that look when I’m available for a snuggle…it is almost a visible connection passing between us. Thankfully I’m a little sporty and girly so I like all things boy and girl. eeeek 4 or 5 kids….eeeek…all I can think of is LAUNDRY! ugh. Your family is definitely blessed!
seriously… i really think laundry will be the death of me.
oh my she is so cute! and you too! you should try for a boy, I have two boys and a girl, and they all love me equally, and I them!! but there is something super snuggly and sweet about a little baby boy that loves his mama, my biggest is 14 and still loves his mama, thank God…lol
As the momma to 5 beautiful little boys, I say go for it. My boys love their daddy, but mommy is #1. I always hoped for a little girl, but wouldn’t trade my boys for the world. Maybe God will bless me with one more little to love.
I know what you mean…! love my girls beyond words like you love your boys.
very cute pants! makes me want to go out to target! haha. and your heart ring is gorgeous, may i ask where you found it? your daughter is adorable, glad you got to spend some precious penny wishing with her on this wednesday! happy leap day to you and your family!
Hi Kaili,
It’s from Forever 21… love me some cheap jewelry.
so funny, I just wore the brown version of those pants 2 days ago and pre-posted for WIWW. great minds think alike
of course you did! haha we can trade colors when we are sick of them.
She’s so adorable. I had a pair of leopard pants like that in the 80′s. I think they are really cute.
beautiful pictures
My first thought when I read this post was to imagine what that outfit would look like on ME….and then I tried to figure out how the same pieces of clothing could look ridiculous on one person (me) and so totally cute on another person (you)? Crazy stuff!
Cute pictures and such a sweet little girlie girl! Love the little bear jacket, so adorable!

You and your little one are just the sweetest! I adore your sweater and must ask you where you got it!
Your little girl is adorable and so smiley! We love how you styled the sweater too

Enjoy all that pink and flowery stuff you’ve got goin’ on over there. I am surrounded by boys–even the dog is a boy. And they still prefer dad because he does cool things like blowing lids off of paint cans in fiery explosions in the middle of the kitchen (he’s an autoshop teacher and that demonstrates some principle in class), and flinging food off a fork at meals to show how it is done properly. I would love to just have a tea party and paint toenails.
ah i bought my liitle annie girl that target panda hoodie for her birthday. Love this post!
Liz, i so enjoy reading your blog as I can dress vicariously through you…lol You are seriously darling (even pregnant you always look adorable). Good luck to you on that boy!
disneyland sounds so magical! adorable outfit, way to rock those pants!
beautiful pictures!! loving the light – and your pants of course!!
WAY cute outfit…beautiful little girl!!! NOW are you teasing us…do you have something to tell us. Baby boy on the way…or maybee soon!!!??? Have two boys and one girl…the BEST of both worlds. Those boys really DO love their Momma’s!!!
Adorable! Winter looks like Spring – lucky you!
I have two boys – they totally love their mommas! It’s well worth it!!!!
I have a 2 year old little boy and he is just the sweetest little thing. I think regardless of gender all babies end up wanting to be with their Daddy. My son is with me all day long. He gives me hugs and kisses, helps me with laundry and loading the dishwasher, but when Daddy gets home from work it’s game over. It’s all about Daddy. lol He’ll come back to me one day. At least I had him when he was small and immobile. lol
hey lizzy!
i have never left a comment, but I read your blog all the time! i have two questions that are totally unrelated to this particular post…what colour did you paint Lola’s room and what colour did you paint your scrap/art/office room? i am trying to find a paint colour for my craft/computer room and am having trouble! i know I want something in the turquoise-ish family! thank you for your help! ps, you have a beautiful family….and as a momma to 2 little boy squirts, I can say that they love their daddy but they sure are mommas boys;)
I love the pictures. You really are good with cameras. I’m pretty sure you did have a nice time with your daughter.

Hi Liz: You and Lola are so beautiful together. I know what you mean about “Daddy’s girl. ” My daughter is a total Daddy’s girl….but my son is a “Mama’s Boy” and there is nothing like it. Try at least 2 more times until you get your boy.
OK I’m gonna get a little personal…but here is how….”Get together” with Collin every other day when you start to try. Not every day, every OTHER day. Missionary style, and then a pillow under your bottom for twenty minutes. (puts your pelvis at a tilt) You will get preg with a boy…promise! It worked for me and others. Sorry this is a little TMI,…but hey, you want a boy so you needed to know!
Also, LOVE the mini album. So fabulous. Take Care.
So adorable! Both of you.
Oh….the irony of life. I’m the girliest girl I know, seriously, so no one could believe I ended up with two tiny boys. Gotta tell ya…they worship they’re mama. My boys are the sweetest, cuddliest, kissiest, neck lovin’st creatures on the planet. I adore baby girls, but if you want to be worshiped keep trying for a teeny boy. ♥
